Support the mission of the Fundacji Centaurus!

Our mission is to connect people, animals and our planet through a holistic approach to compassion, rescue and education. We believe real change is possible only when we understand that people, nature and animals are deeply interconnected — and that none of these groups can thrive without the others.
As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once wrote: “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” That idea is at the heart of everything we do.
Centaurus started with horses, and today we provide lifelong care for more than 1,500 rescued horses and donkeys, while also helping many other species worldwide. Through sanctuary work, education, sterilisation programmes and direct aid in countries where animals still have little or no protection, we strive to raise awareness, build empathy among younger generations and make a lasting impact on a global scale.
Our goal is not only to rescue animals, but also to create spaces that reconnect people with compassion, responsibility, nature and each other.

• We create safe shelters for animals while building awareness among future generations.
• Through education and direct rescue operations we help create a world full of compassion.
• Every shelter we create aims to protect animals and inspire future generations.
• We connect people, animals and nature through rescue operations, education and global action.

We envision a world where compassion outweighs cruelty — and where people of all cultures, generations and backgrounds unite to protect animals, nature and each other.
We believe lasting change does not start by treating symptoms, but by addressing the root causes of suffering through education, awareness, empathy and collective action. That is why we are building a global network of sanctuaries, education programmes, rescue initiatives and international Centaurus communities worldwide.
Our vision is a future where organisations like ours are no longer needed — because respect for animals, the planet and life itself becomes a natural part of human awareness.

• We believe global unity is the key to lasting change for animals and our planet.
• Real change happens when millions of people choose compassion over indifference.
