For more than twenty years the Centaurus Foundation has stood on the side of those who cannot speak for themselves. On four hundred hectares in Lower Silesia we run the largest horse sanctuary in Europe – a home for animals that had nowhere left to go. Horses taken from transports to slaughter. Abandoned dogs. Neglected farm animals. Behind every number there is one real animal and one real story, and those stories lie at the heart of everything we do.
