Over the last few years, Centaurus has significantly expanded its adoption network beyond Poland. Today our horses find homes in Sweden, Germany, the Czech Republic and Spain, and for us each of these adoptions is much more than a change of location. It is another real home. A home for years, and for ever. ❤️
Behind every adoption lies the quiet work of our coordinators. These are people who get to know every horse, who spend weeks talking to families from all over Europe, who check that each new home is suitable, and who follow every horse’s fortunes long after the transport doors have closed. Matching a horse with people who can truly give him a peaceful and safe life takes time, patience and care. It is never just a matter of formalities. It is about finding that one place where the animal finally feels at peace.
As our work grows in reach, we also want to widen our search in order to find those people. Those who are ready to take in an animal who has been through so much, and to give him the stable, safe life he has never known. Extending our adoption work to more European countries was a natural and very important step. Thanks to it, horses who not long ago were waiting here for their chance now live everywhere – from northern Sweden to the south of Spain, in Andalusia.

A horse who once flinched at every movement now trusts the hands that feed him. One who arrived exhausted and uncertain now gallops across a pasture that truly belongs to him. This is what rescue looks like when it goes all the way. It is not just survival, but a completely new life alongside people who have decided to stay for good.
In the gallery you can see some of them. Horses who left Centaurus for places far beyond Poland and found their home with people who have decided to keep them for life. For us, it is one of the most beautiful proofs that rescuing animals can truly lead to something more.
None of this would be possible without you. Every safe home, every horse who has reached a new place, is thanks to your support and to the work of the people who brought about that connection. And this is only the beginning. As long as even one horse is waiting for his chance, we will look for the home he deserves, across Europe and beyond. We will never give up.
