Some ideas ripen over a long time, and then suddenly it becomes clear that their time has come. This is one of them.
For many years we have organised some of the largest charity fairs in Poland. All this time, thousands of people have asked us the same question:
“Why don’t you open permanent charity shops?”
We have decided to do it.
We are creating a network of Centaurus Foundation charity shops, thanks to which we will be able to help animals even more effectively – both those in our own care and those looked after by other organisations and shelters. 100% of the profits from sales in these shops will go towards helping animals.
But this is about more than just shops.
These are places where helping goes hand in hand with responsible consumption. Every item gets a second life, we reduce waste and together we do something good both for animals and for our planet. One shop, one shelf, one donated item – and all of it translates into food, care and safety for more animals.
But a shop like this will not build itself.
Behind each one there are people. Coordinators who manage their own premises. Volunteers who take care of the day-to-day tasks. People who help with collecting donations. It is they – that is, you – who will be the heart of this project. Because it is not walls that help animals. It is people who have decided to get involved.
That is why we are looking for people from all over Poland who would like to join us as:
🧡 charity shop coordinators (voluntary cooperation),
🧡 volunteers to work in the shops,
🧡 people to help with collecting donations.
You do not need any experience. We are looking for people full of energy, ideas and a desire to act. It does not matter how old you are – what counts is commitment and heart.
We are not starting this alone. We are in contact with organisations running similar shops across Europe and we draw on their experience. Our first shop in Italy is already taking shape, we are developing the project in Germany and we are preparing to operate in further countries. This is proof that the idea really works and that it genuinely changes the fate of animals.
This is a unique opportunity to join us right at the very beginning and to create together something that will help animals for many years to come.
If you think this project is for you, get in touch with us.
📩 In a private message, or in an email sent to [email protected], please include:
- Your first and last name,
- your town or city,
- your phone number,
- your email address,
- and a few sentences about yourself and how you would like to get involved.
We will contact you to discuss the possibilities for cooperation.
Together we can create places that save animals every day. We already know how much can be achieved when good people decide to act together. That is why we have no intention of stopping. As long as even one animal needs help, we will keep creating new places, new chances and new reasons for hope.
Join the Centaurus Foundation today and help us do good together.
