Regulations on the receipt of donations
by Centaurus Foundation

§ 1. The recipient

  1. Centaurus Foundation – International Organization supporting Animals and Ecology with the registered office in Wroclaw, ul. Wałbrzyska 6-8, 52-314 Wroclaw, entered into the register associations, others community – based and professional organizations, foundations and independent public health care facilities kept in the National Court Register by the District Court in Wroclaw, 6th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000257551, REGON 020319750, NIP 8982093147 (hereinafter also referred to as the “Foundation”) may accept donations from natural persons and legal entities.
  2. Donations for the Foundation may be made in the form of the financial donations, cash donations​ and in-kind donations.
  3. Any deposits and donations are voluntary and constitute donation within the meaning of Article 888 et seq. of the​ Civil Code.
  4. Donations are collected in accordance with the principles of the campaign Love Wisely.
  5. The donations made are not refundable.
  6. In case of making donation on the principles not included in these regulations, general provisions of the law are applied.

 

§ 2. Financial donations

The donations in the form of the financial resources (funds) may be made in particular in the following way:

  1. online transfer through external DotPay system, supported by the company DotPay sp. z o.o. based in Kraków.​
  2. online transfer through external internet PayU system available at: https://poland.payu.com/  supported​ by the company PayU SA based in Poznań, 60-166 Poznań, ul. Grunwaldzka 186, national payment institution supervised by the Financial Supervision Commission entered into the Register of payment services under the number IP1/2012, entered in the register entrepreneurs conducted by the District Court in Poznań – Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, 8th Commercial Division National Court Register under KRS number 0000274399, share capital in the amount of PLN 6,474,300 paid in full, tax number: 779-23-08-495, REGON: 300523444.

  1. by sending an SMS to one of the numbers :

  1. Cash donations may be made to the collection boxes.
  2. The collection made on the basis of point 2 is carried out on the basis of the permit issued by the Minister of Interior and Administration No. 2014/244/OR to conduct a permanent public collection for the Foundation’s beneficiaries.
  3. The aim of the collection No. 2014/244/OR is to allocate resources to:
  1. buy-out of horses and others equines and dogs which dwell in the places with bad conditions or which have been intended for slaughter,
  2. rehabilitation treatments for horses and equines specified in point 1, surgeries, consultations, tests, veterinary services, blacksmith services,
  3. the purchase of veterinary, rehabilitation equipment, medicinal resources and dressings and hygiene materials for animals specified in point 1,
  4. covering the cost of transporting the Foundation’s horses and other animals to the Foundation’s stables, facilities leased by the Foundation, clinics, animal hospitals or adoptive homes,
  5. ongoing maintenance of animals, i.e. purchase of straw, hay, sawdust for bedding, food, vitamins, dietary supplements and equipment necessary for animal care,
  6. maintaining animal rehabilitation centers run by the Foundation,
  7. maintaining rescued animals in boarding houses and specialized clinics, i.e. the costs of stay for the animals and providing them with specialized 24-hour care.

§ 3. In-kind donation

  1. The persons authorized by the Management of the Foundation may collect in-kind donations.
  2. Donations intended for animals i.e. ​food, things to play with, leashes, blankets etc. are given to animals.
  3. Movable items unsuitable to be used by the animals are sold.

 

§ 4 Purposes of the donations

  1. The donations are allocated to the statutory activities of the Foundation.
  2. Pursuant to § 7 of the statute, the Foundations acts in the field of:
  1. charity activities;
  2. protection and promotion of health;
  3. science, education and upbringing ;
  4. ecology and protection of animals and protection of natural heritage;
  5. counteracting social pathologies;
  6. promotion and organization of volunteer work;
  7. promotion of employment and professional activation of people remaining without work and endangered with unemployment.

 

§ 6. Final provisions

These Regulations come into force on 1 March 2024 and supersede previous regulations covered by this issue.
