❗️Her puppies were fashionable. Today Mira, their mother, needs help❗️

I am writing to you about Mira and today I am returning to one point. Mira gave birth and gave birth. Puppy after puppy. Because yorkies were fashionable. Small, purebred, selected, attention-grabbing. And the female dog who gave birth to them remained out of frame.

Mira is over 10 years old.

Mira came to us from a backyard breeder as an older, sick female dog. In such stories, the female dog often disappears behind the word “breeding”. What remains is the breed, the price, another litter. And what about her?

When I look at Mira’s photos, I cannot think of her as a yorkie. I see an older female dog who needs thorough diagnostics and treatment. She needs help. Period.

Doctors found tumors on her mammary strip. In her mouth, there is chronic inflammation, her teeth are broken, her gums have purulent lesions. The inflammation also affected her eyes. We started examinations. Mira has further consultations ahead, and doctors are determining the direction of further treatment.

Behind every puppy is a mother. People gladly talk about puppies. Less often about their mothers. Today we are telling Mira’s story.
