DONATE FOR MOROCCO
Rescue missions October 12, 2026 Ends December 14, 2026

Morocco for us is not a seasonal topic. This is not a temporary campaign. This is not a place that is visited when things get loud, and then disappears when the world looks away. Morocco is constant work, constant presence, and constant contact with people who are on the ground every day doing things most of the world will never see. We are there. In silence, in dust, in heat, in the smell of wounds and fear. We support, coordinate, help, and return again and again, because we know that if we give up, no one else will take this place for us.

Since 2024, we have been operating in Morocco as part of the Animals Bez Granic project. A project that was not created at a desk or on paper, but in the field. It started with one request for help. From one contact. From one animal that could no longer be “unseen”. Someone asked us for support, and we did what we have been doing for years – we went, checked, saw, and stayed. This help, instead of ending with one action, began to grow. Trip after trip. Decision after decision. Dog after dog. Today, Morocco is one of those places with which we are permanently connected.\

Over the past months and years, our activists have returned to Morocco many times. They treated, bandaged, delivered food, organized transports, supported local people who have long been working there without system support. They picked up dogs that lay on the streets and were no longer counted. Dogs after accidents, beaten dogs, starved dogs, dogs thrown away like trash. Dogs that had known only fear their entire lives. And there were also cats. The same streets. The same realities. The same stories.

So far, we have jointly helped over a thousand dogs in Morocco. These are not statistics. These are specific bodies, specific eyes, and specific moments in which something changed in these animals. Our people were in villages where no one had come with help before. They looked for places where help was truly needed, not where it was easiest. They were in places where dogs lived among trash, in empty squares, by roads, near shops. They were where there was no vet, no medicine, and no hope. And they did what they do best – they saved lives step by step.

Morocco is brutal. And there’s no point in sugarcoating it. Dogs are killed there. Systematically. Sometimes officially, sometimes quietly, at night, out of sight. Poisons, sticks, cars, removal of entire packs. These are not isolated incidents. This is everyday life. It happens despite protests, despite appeals, despite international declarations. Upcoming major sporting events only exacerbate the problem, because “cleaning up the streets” always comes at the expense of the weakest. Those who have no voice.

On our channels, we show reports from Morocco. We show fragments of this reality. But a camera can never capture everything. It will never show the smell of fear. It will never show the silence after dark when dogs disappear. It will never show that moment when a person has to decide who to save today, because not everyone can be saved. And such decisions are made there every day.

Fundacja Centaurus has been operating since 2006. For almost twenty years, we have been helping animals where help does not come on its own. In Poland and beyond its borders. In the Philippines, Morocco, Egypt, Spain, Sweden, and many other places. Always in the same way. Going where it is most difficult. The Animals Bez Granic project is a natural extension of this path. It is a response to real needs, not to fleeting interest.

This fundraiser is so that we can continue to do exactly what we do. So that we can fly to Morocco. Be on site. React immediately. Treat, help, support, and reach animals that have not yet received help. Because Morocco won’t wait. Animals don’t have time. And we know that our presence truly changes reality. Step by step. Dog by dog. Street by street.

One of the people who appear in our reports from Morocco is Salima. An activist on the ground. One of those who do what needs to be done every day. She picks up dogs. Dresses wounds. Organizes help where no one has looked before. And she is not the only one.

There are more such people in Morocco. And with each trip, we meet more. We reach new places. To villages, streets, squares, and makeshift shelters that no one knew about before. We help not only organizations but also private individuals. People who do everything they can, having only their own hands, a minimum of resources, and a maximum of determination.

Our missions are a continuous expansion of the help map. Each trip means new points on this map. New animals. New stories. New places where help finally begins to arrive. This is not a closed project. It is a living process that is constantly evolving.

We document all of this. The reports we publish are not meant to shock. They are meant to show the truth. So that you can see where your support goes. What animal rescue looks like in real conditions. What Morocco looks like beyond tourist brochures. We show streets, villages, places that outsiders rarely visit. We show animals that were invisible yesterday. And people who, despite everything, continue to act.

This fundraiser is another step on this journey.

Its goal is to secure funds for another mission to Morocco. For presence on site. For quick reactions. For treatment. For supporting local activists. For rescuing animals that have not yet received help. This is a fundraiser for real action, not for promises. For more dogs picked up from the street. For more wounds that will not be ignored. For another life that will not end in silence.

We know that this work makes sense because we have seen the results. We have seen dogs that sleep without fear today. We have seen adoptions. We have seen changes where there was only hopelessness before. But we also know that without funds, we won’t fly. Without funds, we won’t be on site. Without funds, this help will simply stop.

If you’ve been with us for a long time, you know how we operate.
If you’re here for the first time, now is your chance to become part of this story.

Every donation is a real step towards another mission.
Every support is concrete help for animals that are still on the streets of Morocco today.
Every “I help” decision allows us to continue doing this.
