Lolek

❗️LOLEK. He is just two weeks old, weighs half a kilo and is already fighting for his eye. Help us save this little one!❗️

Lolek was found in a field. Alone, without his mother, without anyone who could feed him, warm him and protect him. He is just two weeks old. At this age kittens should still be snuggling up to their mother, sleeping cuddled against their siblings and getting to know the world from a safe place. Instead, at the very start of his life, Lolek has had to face something no kitten that small should have to face.

When he came into our care, we took him to the vet straight away. His eye was in very bad shape. One of the eyelids is protruding, the eye looks worrying and needs an urgent ophthalmology consultation. On top of that there were worms and a weakened little body. Lolek weighs just 506 grams. It really is a handful of life that, without human help, has no chance of coping on its own.

We have started treatment. Lolek is receiving medicines, supplements to support his body and eye drops. But this is only the beginning. Ahead of him is an urgent visit to a specialist, further check-ups and treatment on which the future of his eye depends. Today we don’t yet know whether it can be fully saved. But we do know that we can’t delay.

We look at Lolek and it’s hard to believe that such a tiny creature has already been through so much. He doesn’t know the world yet. He doesn’t know what a warm home, a full bowl and a peaceful childhood are. Instead, he has known the cold of a field, loneliness and the vet’s surgery. And yet his whole life should still be ahead of him.

We are raising money for Lolek’s treatment. For the ophthalmology consultation, the medicines he needs, tests and further visits that will allow us to take care of his health. For one tiny kitten this is a huge amount. But if we join forces, we can give him a chance at a future he almost lost before he even got to know it.

Lolek won’t ask for help. He won’t tell you how he ended up alone in a field or how much he needs our care today. He only has his tiny paws, a sick eye and people who have decided to fight for him.

Please help Lolek. Every donation brings us closer to providing him with further treatment. Even a few złoty matter when on the other side there is a life weighing just half a kilo.

Let’s not let Lolek’s story end before it has really begun. Let’s give him a chance to grow up. To see the world. And to find out that it can be a good place for such a small cat.
