❗️DESERT DOGS. Jordanii❗️
It sounds like a title that carries dust, heat, vast space, and a distance greater than can be contained in a single sentence. It sounds like something distant. Like a world that happens somewhere beyond our daily rhythm, beyond the roads we walk, beyond the places we know. And yet, for some time now, this world has been getting closer to us. Because when you stand on the spot and see dogs living by the roads, on the outskirts of cities, in a desert landscape where help doesn’t come on its own, suddenly distance ceases to be a convenient excuse.

We reach such places because animals have no nationality. They have no passports. They don’t know where one country ends and another begins. They don’t know that for many people, their suffering happens „too far away”, „not in our country”, „not here”. They simply live. They starve. They get sick. They flee. They wait. Sometimes in the desert. Sometimes by the road. Sometimes in a place most of the world will never see. And that’s why we are there. Because for years we have believed that helping animals cannot end where the map of our country ends.
If an animal suffers, it doesn’t matter if it happens in Poland, Ukraine, Albania, Spain, Egypt, or Jordanii. What matters is only whether someone will stop. Whether someone will go further. Whether someone will decide that an animal’s life does not become less important just because it happens thousands of kilometers from our home.

For some time now, we have been telling you about Jordanii through individual stories. About animals that we managed to notice, feed, take care of, take for treatment, or simply rescue from a place where they no longer had any chance. But today we don’t come to you with just one story. Today we want to open up to you an entire world that we are just beginning to discover. The world of desert dogs. The world of animals that are driven away, chased away, killed, or treated as a problem that needs to be removed from sight. And yet, each of them feels hunger just the same. Pain just the same. Fear just the same.
We sometimes say that we change the world. But the truth is, we change worlds. Small worlds of individual animals. The world of a dog that gets food for the first time in a long time. The world of a sick animal that receives care. The world of one who was noticed too late, but not too late to try and fight. The world of those whose names we don’t yet know, but who are already out there somewhere. By the road. In the sand. In the heat. In the shade, of which there is too little. In a daily life that cannot be understood from afar.
Jordanii is one such world. And it is to this world that we want to invite you today.

Omar is with us. A man whom many of you might have met in Poland, also during open days. For years he was close to Centaurus, worked with animals, and did many good things for them. Things that are not always spoken about loudly, although without such people, many stories would never have continued. Today Omar is in Jordanii. He also returned there to help animals. And we, step by step, are beginning to enter this story with him.

We were there. We fed the dogs. We looked at places that cannot be captured in a single photo. We talked. We learned about this daily life. Because Jordanii cannot be told in one post. It cannot be confined to one fundraiser, one film, one dramatic image. You have to listen to it. You have to see the roads, the desert, the dogs, the people, and all those moments where help turns out to be more difficult than it looks from afar.
That’s why we will talk with Omar. We want you to hear a little more about the dogs of Jordanii. For you to see what their daily life looks like. What challenges people face who try to help on the ground. What challenges we also begin to face as we take the first, second, and subsequent steps in this story. Because when we enter such a place, we don’t just come for one story. We come for understanding. For presence. For responsibility, which begins when a person stops saying „it’s too far away”.

This will be a larger-scale action. Not an action for one animal. Not one story with a beginning and an end. This is the beginning of a journey in which we want to help where animals are usually left alone. We want to react, support, feed, treat, seek solutions, and be there where animal suffering has become part of the landscape. Not because we have a ready answer for everything. Only because we know that nothing will change on its own if no one takes the first step.
And there are many such animals there. Too many. We have already met some. We will only hear about others later. Some will still need to be reached. Each of them has its own small world that can change from very simple things: from food, from treatment, from a person who won’t turn their head away, from the decision that it’s worth trying, even if the scale of the problem seems enormous.
Because big changes very rarely start with big words. They start with the first trip. The first conversation. The first fed dog. The first animal someone takes from the road. The first person who says: come, I’ll show you what it really looks like.

And that’s where we are today.
At the beginning.
We have a long way ahead of us. Stories we don’t know yet. Animals whose names we haven’t spoken yet. Places we still need to reach. Decisions we will make step by step. But one thing we know now: if we truly want to help animals, we cannot choose only those places that are close. Sometimes you have to go further. Sometimes you have to enter the dust, heat, and silence of the desert. Sometimes you have to see something you haven’t seen before to understand how much help is needed.

That’s why we ask for your support for this campaign today.
For the desert dogs.
For the animals of Jordanii.
For those we have already met, and those we will yet try to reach.
For all the small worlds that can change if someone decides that their lives are not too far away to be important.
