ADMIRAL. He was supposed to be a gift for children, and for their disappointment, he will pay with his life.❗️4800 zł or else..
An unwanted gift can be put away in a closet. Close the door and forget that you ever received it. With ADMIRAL, it was harder, because he breathed, needed food, and every day he was still a horse. Even when the children stopped enjoying him. So the adults found a solution. They sent him to slaughter.

An unwanted gift can be put away in a closet. Close the door and forget that you ever received it. With ADMIRAL, it was harder, because he breathed, needed food, and every day he was still a horse. Even when the children stopped enjoying him. So the adults found a solution. They sent him to slaughter.
I am writing to you and looking at a photo of a small horse with a rope on his head. I am trying to find the moment in this story when an adult should have said: stop. When the children wanted a toy, but they were bought a living animal? When it turned out that the pony was small and couldn’t do what was expected of him? Or when other children started to laugh?
„Runt”. „What kind of horse is that”.
And so the small horse became a big disappointment.

Not because he harmed anyone. He was just himself. He had the height he had, and the skills he had been taught before. He didn’t choose the family he was taken to. He didn’t promise to impress friends, that children would be proud of him, that he would fulfill adults’ idea of a successful gift. All of this was added to his life without his participation. And when reality didn’t match expectations, he was presented with the bill.
Too small. Knows nothing. We don’t want him.
Today, this bill could end in a slaughterhouse. In the photo, ADMIRAL looks towards the camera. He has a disheveled mane, dark eyes, and a thick rope instead of a halter. The plan for him was different. He was supposed to become part of their daily lives. To be an animal with whom they learn care, patience, and that another being has its own needs. Instead, they got a lesson that a living gift can be discarded when it’s no longer liked.
And he was left with the consequences of that lesson.

We named him ADMIRAL. After all the words that judged his height and usefulness, we wanted to give him a name with which we could tell you about him. About a horse for whom we are seeking rescue. About this one small life that can still be taken off the path to slaughter right now.
The down payment for ADMIRAL has been made. The first step is behind us, but the most important part of the fight for his life is ahead of us. By 20 listopada, we still need to collect 3000 zł for ADMIRAL’s buyout and 1800 zł for his transport. In total, we need 4800 zł.
This is the amount on which it depends whether we can complete his buyout and take him to a safe place. Please, stop with him for a moment. You have already read why he ended up here. Now you can help decide where he will go.

We want to find a place for him among other horses. We want to be able to tell you the next chapter: about ADMIRAL’s first days in the herd. Meanwhile, his entire life has been reduced to being too small and not making the right impression on the children.
We now entrust this story to you.
If you can donate 10 or 20 zł, help us collect the missing 4800 zł. We need people who will stand by ADMIRAL and help us make it by 20 listopada.
I beg you. For this family, he was an unwanted gift. For himself, he has only one life. Help us save it.
