UNITING FOR TUTU. 3500 ZŁ FOR HER
With Tutu, everything today fits into one word: still. She is still with us. Her little body is still trying to respond to treatment. She still looks, reacts, and we can still do a great deal for her. And that is exactly why I am showing her to you now, before this story becomes another one we can only tell in the past tense.
Tutu is a tiny grey kitten. She survived panleukopenia, but her body is extremely weak today. She is anaemic and dehydrated, her immunity has practically nothing left to draw on, and on top of that she has a very severe parasite infestation. We do not yet know how much of this is a direct result of the illness she went through and what traces it has left in her body. We have to treat, test, observe and above all give her time. Because with such weakness, every single day really matters.
And this is not an exaggerated fear. The sister of one of the surviving kittens did not survive a massive worm infestation. There were so many parasites that they were coming out of her mouth. Bella, whom we have already shown you, survived panleukopenia but was left with neurological problems and moves as if the world under her paws were constantly swaying. That is why, with Tutu, I don’t want to promise you today that everything will be fine. Instead, I want to do everything so that it has a chance to be fine.
Tutu should be growing now, getting stronger, chasing everything that moves and discovering the world. Instead, her little body is fighting for the basics. For hydration, blood, immunity, getting rid of parasites and more days that will let the vets see what she will really need next. We are raising 3500 zł for her treatment, tests, drips, medicines, good food and everything that will give her body a little more time.
And this is where I ask you. Not for a miracle. For 10 zł, 20 zł, for as much as you can add to this fight today. For you it may take a moment. For Tutu it may mean another drip, another test, another medicine and another day when she is still with us.
