A big campaign for Tamara. 5000 zł
One of the last dogs rescued during our mission in Egypt — or actually not even the last, because the mission is still going on — is Tamara. She is the one the boys spotted just before their flight back and managed to help in time.
Because the truth is, if it weren’t for that, we don’t know whether she would even be here today.
When she came to us, she had something in her leg that should never have been there. A sharp object stuck in her body, which for a long time had been destroying her from the inside. The infection was not “minor”. Her blood results clearly show very high inflammation. Her body is fighting all the time.
The first operation was needed immediately.

But that is only part of the problem.
Because her hind leg is not “just sick”. It is displaced, deformed. The X-ray clearly shows that the bone doesn’t work the way it should. This is not something that will fix itself. It’s something she has lived with, adapting her whole body to the pain.
And that is why a second operation is needed.

The harder one. Orthopaedic. The one that will decide whether Tamara will be able to walk normally.
And right now we can’t do it.
Because her body isn’t ready yet. The infection is too strong, her parameters are disturbed, her body first has to be stabilised.
That means time.
Tamara is already in hospital. This isn’t days. It’s weeks. As many as 31 days of treatment, preparation and fighting for her to be able to undergo the next procedure at all. Plus X-rays, a specialist, more tests, medicines.
And that is what we are raising money for.
5000 zł.

This is the amount that allows us to keep going. But it’s not the end of the costs. With two operations and such long treatment, we know there will be more.
We are already acting. We have already started.
But without you we won’t be able to finish it.
Tamara got a chance at the last moment.
And now everything depends on what happens next.

5000 zł is a lot. But it can also be 500 people donating 10 zł each. Or fewer people doing a little more. Every donation matters, every one brings her closer to the moment when she can stand normally on that leg.
If you can, help.
Because for her this isn’t a “fundraiser”.
It’s a chance for a life without pain.
Finally, we simply want to thank you. For being here, for reading, for reacting, for not passing by indifferently. And to wish you a calm, good time.
Donate directly to the Foundation’s bank account.
