Listen. Each of these boys earns 500 to 750 zł working with the animals at the shelter. The cost of living in the Philippines is lower than in Poland, but not that low. The boys can barely afford anything. Neither can Karina.
Buying shoes, a T-shirt, washing liquid or a pack of coffee is an extravagance there.
We buy dog food for these shelters. Thanks to you, we supply them every 2 weeks. The deliveries on site are managed by our activist Janice, whom we got to know here in Poland – she looked after our animals. Because of family matters, Janice had to return to her island immediately. And when she got back, she asked us for help for the local shelters.
And so for many months we have been helping by buying food and treating the dogs and cats there.
We would like to give these people a surprise. They work for pennies and in very hard conditions. It is muggy, stifling and dreadfully hot. For many tourists, the Philippines is a dream holiday – for them it is a hard everyday reality.
We would like to take them shopping for basic cleaning products, shoes and some clothes for work, for coffee and maybe some shampoo.

What do you say?
Of course the animals are the most important. We know that. But if there are no people who can look after them there, nothing will remain of all this rescuing. And in the Philippines there are few enough places that help our smaller brothers and sisters.
Will you chip in even 2 zł to make parcels for the boys and Karina?
We promise a photo report of the shopping “by Janice”!
We’ll add straight away that you could send them a parcel from Poland, but the shipping cost is astronomical. That’s why, when we buy food for the animals, Janice does it on site. We want to do the same in this case.
