Over the past months, together we have managed to save many feline lives. Stories that at first seemed hopeless. Cats that came into the care of our activists in a critical state. The kind where fear came first and hope only later.
It is thanks to you that many of them are alive today.
That is why we are turning to you once again. Because we know that when there are people on the other side ready to fight alongside us, even the hardest stories can change course.
Today we would like to introduce you to Feniks.
A tiny kitten who is only about six weeks old. A kitten Alba gave this name to (it means Phoenix), because from the very first moment she believed that even after what he had been through, he deserved his chance.
In a moment you will read a message from Alba. I’d like you to read it carefully. This is not a story told by someone who saw a photo on the internet. It is the story of a person who went to get Feniks herself and, together with the vets, fights for his life every day.

“When I received a photo of Feniks, I immediately asked for him to be brought to the shelter. But I knew it wasn’t a place where he could get the help he needed. I wanted to take him to a trusted veterinary clinic as quickly as possible, because I knew every hour counted.
Nobody wrote back to me.
After work I went to get this tiny cat myself. He was still there. Lying in exactly the same spot. To be honest, when I saw him, I didn’t believe he could be saved. He was in a critical state. It was only our vet who managed to stabilise him and give him his first chance.

Today Feniks is still at the clinic. He has panleukopenia. He tested positive for cat flu. He will most likely lose one eye. But that isn’t the biggest problem today. The biggest challenge is simply to keep him alive. He suffers from severe anaemia caused by fleas, he is extremely malnourished and wasted from hunger. His body has practically no immunity left. He doesn’t eat on his own. We have to give him every meal with a syringe. And this little one is only about forty, forty-five days old…”

This is the tiny cat we are fighting for together today.
Ahead of Feniks are more days in hospital, treatment, medicines, tests and round-the-clock care. Every day of this fight means more costs, but we know we can’t give up. You have shown too many times that together we can achieve things that at first seemed impossible.
That is why we are asking you for help once again.

We beg you, fight for Feniks together with us. Every donation gives him another chance at treatment. Every share can help his story reach more people. We believe that this time, too, together we will manage to write a completely different ending from the one that only a few days ago seemed inevitable.

Thank you for being part of this fight once again. Thanks to you, Feniks has something today that he didn’t have a moment ago. Hope.
