KAJMAK for adoption

Do you feel those butterflies in your stomach? A wonderful, powerful, and exceptionally photogenic boy is looking for his adoptive family. He is very sociable and eager to cooperate with humans. Although he came to us from a dealer, he has apparently already learned that the people around him are not the greatest evil. On the contrary, he really cares about their company.

Kajmak is eager to learn and learns quickly, which doesn’t mean we want him to spend his time primarily under the saddle. We are ideally looking for someone who knows how to work with a horse from the ground, as we consider this to be the foundation. Kajmak will happily go for walks with you and accept grooming sessions. He might not fetch you the newspaper, but he will gladly consume a bucket of carrots.

He is a fully healthy horse, ready for a new path in life. We hope he finds his wonderful family who will also appreciate this character of his.

Please remember that adoptions are free of charge. You pay nothing for the horse, but the adoptive family is responsible for transport, farrier, vet, and boarding at a stable or a backyard barn. Foundation horses cannot be used for profit or bred. We are primarily looking for private homes, just for loving.

Keeping a horse can be very expensive. We know this because we have nearly 1,000 adoptions across Europe, and it still happens that people are surprised by the bills. So if Kajmak were to be the first horse you personally take care of, you must take into account that the costs can truly be huge. They don’t have to be, but they can be. And we are looking for people who are aware of this.

We wouldn’t want him to return to us when it turns out there isn’t enough money for the vet. These are not the homes we are looking for. We are looking for responsible homes, aware of what caring for a horse entails. Even when difficulties arise.

And Kajmak is truly worth having by your side. For joint walks, learning, and getting to know each other every day. He is a wonderful horse with a wonderful character, with his whole life ahead of him.
