In southern Poland, in Szczedrzykowice, 70 km from Wrocław, we run the largest horse sanctuary in Europe. We care for horses, farm animals, dogs and cats.
The farm was purchased by Centaurus in 2012 thanks to the support of donors from around the world. Today, it houses several thousand m2 of buildings for animals, separate enclosures, quarters and isolation rooms, as well as rooms adapted to perform medical procedures.
The farm is under the constant care of veterinarians.
Our horses and other animals are treated using both classical and alternative methods (homeopathy, acupuncture, biocommunication, herbal medicine, magnetotherapy, cell therapy). The main adoption center is also located here - horses are rehabilitated, socialized and adapted for adoption.
Several times a year, Animal Farm invites everyone to Open Days, usually in early autumn and late spring.
Open Days are held twice a year. From 2020, we combined it with the Charity Fair.
During the event, in addition to positive interactions with our students, you can try vegetarian delicacies, and your children will have a great time in the kids’ zone.
We invite you!
Please also remember that good shoes will be useful for sightseeing (there is a lot of mud here) and a dose of peace (always invaluable when dealing with animals).
Attention! If the weather is rainy or thaws – wellingtons are mandatory!
You must bring your own provisions, but we have a wooden shelter under which we serve wonderful tea on request.
Horses should not be fed under any circumstances during the visit, only after consulting the Guide.
All treats must be consulted due to various diseases and the complete safety of both parties.
