We’re in a place you know well. We’ve been here more than once. Not five.
It’s a bit empty this afternoon. The trader says it’s been like this since yesterday.
We don’t ask what it was like before, because we kind of know the answer.

Today we’re here again. And not the last time. Because it’s all legal. A legal killing.

Masha got here first. Probably just moments before we arrived.

And so she stayed – for a moment. To be told she had failed.
And if she failed, it was a sentence. If she had, she was already standing at the gate when we entered the grounds, “because some car would come for her.”
Masha – old, dazed, and poor.
A bit like us when we saw this sight.

But Masha has nothing to say today.
She lowers her gaze and begs for your life.
