An old donkey that stares at you.

Uszaty is standing on a farm in Silesia, with a trader, waiting. And he sticks his long ears up to the sky, hoping that someone there will notice his donkey existence before he ceases to exist.

Well, what should Uszaty do?
He may squeal, but they beat him with a wooden stick.
At the mere sight of a huge man panting right behind me, Uszaty cringes and moves a meter away.

He’s been waiting here for a while. They came and looked at it, patted it and measured it and brewed it. Humiliated, he stayed. Too old, too crooked. Everything about him is wrong.

Now he looks at me shyly to see if I see anything in him, one little thing worth letting him live and collecting  $491 in advance for him.

And I am sending this donkey’s eyes to you.

If you look hard enough, I know you’ll find a reason.
