GOOD TO KNOW
BEFORE ADOPTING A HORSE OR DONKEY
- Adoption is free of charge.
- Adopters are responsible for transport, farrier and veterinary costs.
- Adopted animal cannot be sold, used for profit, used by third parties (even if free of charge) or used for reproduction.
- An adoption agreement is settled between Centaurus Foundation and the adopter to protect the rights of both parties and the animal itself.
- Adopter has to provide a stall, secure runs, company of another horse.
- To adopt an animal, adopter has to be 18 years of age or older (if not, a sign agreement of the caretakers has to be provided.
