I don’t know his history, other than that he’s a fat, powerful draft horse. His destiny, as he aged, could only be the slaughterhouse. Sniezek is lame and desperately needs a full diagnostic.

We’re raising $410 for him today, this Black Friday. Because it’s one of those things that won’t be discounted in any malls or stores today. No media outlets want to feature him because they’re all swamped with commercials, telling us who’s interested in a horse on a day like this. In fact, this shouldn’t surprise us in today’s world.

But we know there are people who will be interested in Sniezek. I don’t know about you, but the snow hasn’t melted here. The sun is shining brightly, and everything is sparkling. The world looks like a fairytale. We’d love to see Sniezek, scurrying about in the snow, trying to dig out the few remaining blades of grass from under the frost and white caps.
