Needs help

We named her Patusia. Tiny. She fits in two palms. But she’s showing her age. She simply hasn’t grown. Such a “breed.” You might not know if you can call it a breed here, because it’s irrelevant, and Patusia comes from a pseudo-breed. She was discovered a few days ago. She arrived from Podlasie. From a wonderful kennel called Obora, with its ornate cages. It smelled of mustiness, excrement, and was marked by ubiquitous mess, because mess can’t even solve it. Patusia gave birth. That was her job. She was a mother. Full-time. Over and over again. If one day she could no longer be a mother, and they locked Patusia up in that Obora. I started looking for a client. This story, which is small, was published, along with several others.

Patusia drove to the clinic with the siren on for now, as we had to carry her. She couldn’t walk, she was so weak. We don’t know how many days she spent in that barn, although the person handed her over to us without any problems. We didn’t even have to call the police. He said she’d just been sluggish for a while and would have ended up in a ditch anyway. After feeding and watering Patusia on the way, she perked up considerably, so we think it might be nothing serious. She might just be malnourished or dehydrated, but we’re waiting for the first results of basic tests. Nevertheless, we want to get a whole bunch of tests done on Patusia, because in all her years of serving people and giving birth to puppies, no one has probably even given her a deworming treatment. Then we’ll look for a home for Little One, but it’s not time to think about that right now.

We’re asking for your help for this little dog, who is placing her health and life in your hands today. We’re raising $410 for Patusia. Will you join us?
